PALS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom and small group course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. PALS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or may participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. Upon successful course completion, including demonstration of skills competency students will receive a PALS course completion card in the mail, valid for two years. ACLS and PALS classes require a Precourse Self-Assessment that is required for entry into the course. A score of 70% or higher is necessary to pass and print your report. The students can find the code found at the bottom of page ii in the front of their course manual to access the student supplementary materials.
